Founded in 2019 in Taipei by designers Yi-Lun Hsu and Chuan Lu, AETER is dedicated to creating sleek, modern designs fused with exquisite craftsmanship. The brand name derives from the Latin word aeternus, meaning “eternal.” We believe that eternity is achieved through the balance of design, structure, proportion, and material. Rooted in a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship, AETER draws from the founders’ background in industrial design, merging modern manufacturing techniques with contemporary aesthetics. The brand specializes in reinterpreting modernist and abstract geometric forms — through creation, construction, and spatial arrangement — delivering a design language that is both pure and honest. Our core philosophy, structure is decoration, guides us to eliminate superfluous elements, allowing each piece to return to its essential, harmonious expression. Sustainable Leather & Ethical Practice All leathers and materials used in our collections are ethically sourced — as by-products of the meat industry, from free-range farming, population control of wild animals, or natural causes. We use non-toxic, eco-conscious dyes, and our materials are free from AZO dyes and phthalates. At AETER, we express our fascination with modernism and geometric reconfiguration through the use of ethical leather, refining contradictions into timeless elegance — Unpretentious yet sophisticated, modest yet striking.

Rooted in this shared foundation, Nea Jade stands as an independent expression shaped by innovation and a contemporary point of view. Nea signifies “new” and “contemporary” in Greek, and “light” in Finnish. Guided by light as its design philosophy, the brand reinterprets the beauty of jade through a modern lens, bringing its quiet depth into the everyday lives of contemporary women. Wavecement centers on cement as its core material, exploring the aesthetic tension between strength and elegance. The brand recombines cement, metal, minerals, and natural materials, using contrast and transformation of materials to create a distinctive language that exists between industrial texture and refined craftsmanship.
The name “Wavecement” originates from the imagery of cement and flowing water patterns, symbolizing time, movement, and the solidification of matter. Each design begins with the inherent texture and structure of the material, seeking balance between proportion, weight, and tactility, allowing the pieces to embody both sculptural presence and wearability.
Drawing from the designer’s background in product design, Wavecement integrates industrial design thinking into jewelry creation. By combining contemporary manufacturing processes with hand craftsmanship, the works achieve a balance between rational structure and emotional expression. The brand is also attentive to the sustainable potential of materials, selecting durable materials and structural designs so that each piece can endure and be preserved over time.
Through a design language that is minimal yet layered, Wavecement constructs a contemporary jewelry style that balances strength with subtle refinement.
