Fashion industry Crossover Project was initiated by Ministry of Culture in 2018 to promote Taiwan’s domestic fashion industry, to champion Taiwan’s own fashion brands to the global markets, to promote our cultural assets by leveraging on our unique life style, and to maximize the visibility of Taiwan’s fashion brands. Through Taipei Fashion Week, various assistance and grant programs, and talent development programs, the project aims to promote Taiwan’s fashion industry from multiple facets to link the industry with performance art, original visual designs, musical works, tourism, entertainment and technological sectors to build up digital application ecosystem for fashion and to promote the industry to the international arena.
Taipei Fashion Week is a long-term program that strives to bring sustainable development for fashion, textile and commercial industries. It is also a high-quality platform for fashion industry and the vendors - a platform that assist in improving local production processes, material sourcing, product life cycles, and the impact on environment and the economy. It is also the platform to communicate core values to consumers and B2B audience so the industry can deliver unique fashion experiences to the consumers.
